Divorce is difficult for everyone involved, including celebrities. Nothing, however, is more painful than the divorce of two people who were formerly blissfully married.
The more well-known a celebrity is, the more well-known their divorce becomes. When a celebrity walks away from a marriage, whether it’s with themselves or someone else, the pressure is on to figure out why. What goes around comes around, as we all know.
As a result, when their marriage falls apart, it is frequently discussed in the media. If you’re a fan of their talent, these famous couples who have divorced might be heartbreaking.
Steve Burton and Sheree Burton
The month of May kicked off with a piece of very shocking news coming from Steve Burton and his pregnant wife, Sheree Burton, not only because they are divorcing after 23 years of being married, but because the child Sheree was carrying wasn’t from the actor.
He immediately announced it to his fans on social media, beginning with a statement that they are divorcing before revealing the other surprising news.
“I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated,” he wrote, adding, “She recently announced that she’s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine.”
“We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids. We would appreciate privacy at this time,” he said before signing off with “Much luv, Steve.”
The father of Sheree’s fourth child has not been revealed, but the now-ex-couple has three children: Makena, Jack, and Brooklyn, and has been together since 1999.
Given that Steve was just sacked from “General Hospital” for failing to comply with health safety regulations, specifically the COVID-19 vaccination, this revelation looked to be cruel on his part.
Lisa Hochstein And Lenny Hochstein
The third week of May became considerably more tumultuous as this reality star couple reached a point where the other one asked the court to ordered one of them to vacate the home. These said stars are none other than “Real Housewives of Miami” Lisa Hochstein and Lenny Hochstein.
After a 12-year marriage, Lenny filed for divorce, but the cause for the divorce is kept confidential. He then requested the court to force his now-ex-wife to depart the $52 million Miami Beach property because he was the one who dared to file.
He claimed that their prenup specified that the wife “vacate the Marital Home then occupied by the parties within thirty (30) days of such filing,” giving him enough confidence to force Lisa to leave the property.
Even though their prenuptial agreement didn’t oblige him to give Lisa a home, the plastic surgeon is committed to funding all of Lisa’s moving expenditures.
Lisa and Lenny’s divorce came after viewers of the show suspected Lenny of cheating on Lisa, but he subsequently clarified that the split occurred before he began dating Austrian model Katharina Mazepa.
On the other hand, Lisa has vowed on social media to talk about their separation and her now-ex-husband’s messy stunt anytime soon.
Thomas Ian Nicholas and Colette Marino
The next couple on the list is “American Pie” actor Thomas Ian Nicholas and his wife, Colette Marino, who has filed for a divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for their separation.
This probably comes as no surprise at all from their fans, who have been attentive to everything they do as they have separated since September 3, 2019, according to documents obtained by several news media sites after marrying in 2007.
Nolan and Zoë are their two children. His wife also wants to share legal and physical custody of their children, as well as a court order forbidding either parent from receiving child support. In addition, she wants the judge to enforce their prenuptial agreement.
Valerie Bertinelli and Tom Vitale
Valerie Bertinelli and Tom Vitale’s decade-long marriage has come to an end, with the couple filing for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for the breakup.
The ex-couple has been separated since December 2019 after being engaged back in March 2010 and tying the knot in January of 2011. They also have no children together.
According to several media outlets, their documents reportedly indicated that they had a prenuptial agreement that is “in full force and effect and fully binding on the parties.”
Jen Armstrong and Ryne Holliday
Another couple from Bravo TV’s Real Housewives is on the list, this time Dr. Jen Armstrong and Ryne Holliday from “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
After eight years of marriage, the real housewife filed for divorce in Orange County Superior Court, asking for legal and physical custody of their children, as well as visiting rights for Ryan. “Irreconcilable differences” were stated as a reason for their divorce too. Jen also wants the court to end both parties’ spousal support payments.
This isn’t the first time they’ve split up after tying the knot in November 2013, but it is the first time they’ve really filed for divorce. She admitted in February that they had a brief split after the reality program production wrapped but later reconciled. The couple’s children include twins Vince and Vera and son Robert.
Candice Accola and Joe King
Another divorce has been filed because of “irreconcilable differences,” with the marriage lasting seven years. Candice Accola and Joe King have ended their relationship after allegedly splitting in January, with the actress moving to Nashville and Joe remaining in Brentwood, Tennessee.
They wedded in New Orleans in October 2014 and have two children, Florence and Josephine. Despite still following each other on social media, Joe has erased their images from his account, saving only photos with their girls.
On the other hand, Candice was seen without her wedding band, hinting that they had already split up and were just present for their children.
